So I was very naughty and annoyed my lovely wife today and so, in an attempt to assuage her wrath ( in all honestly she wasn't really that wrathful ), I made her this little cut-out picture thing. Those who know me well know that I am no expert with a scalpel; certainly not when compared with my wife ( see this and this as examples ) and knowing that I cheated.
My present to Jo this Christmas was a Silhouette Digital Cutting Tool that does exactly as it suggests ( it's effectively a printer with a blade instead of ink ) and makes my cutting-by-hand days all but over.
Here are the photos, hopefully it went some way towards making Jo completely wrathless.

Hyperbole and a Half
This is in my Awesome Links list, but I thought I'd share it again, since it is so very cool:
The style of the work is incredibly simple and childlike, and that's half the charm, but it's Allie's amaaaaaazing sense of humour that has me in fits of incredibly manly giggles whenever she posts something new.

Moooooooooo
My boss put me in charge of designing an office t-shirt based on something a small Cornish boy said when presented with a barbecue; quite obviously stocked with the items in question.
I'll post an update once the exciting t-shirts have been printed.

The start of a new era
So my lovely lady wife has recently started a blog to display her beautiful illustration work.
It's not in my nature to copy, but as they say:
"Imitation is the highest form of flattery"
and to that end I decided it would be fun to start a blog myself; a combination of graphic design, web development geekery and grammar Nazi-ism.
I have yet to decide what format this is going to take or even if it's possible, but I'll give it a shot.
P.S. It's totally in my nature to give things up prematurely, so this may be an incredibly short-lived endeavour.
